Dell R740 not recongizing memory module in slot A1
Ram slots A1 and A2 not working, they worked before but then I took the PC apart and now they don't work anymore. The motherboard is MSI B250M Pro VDH B1 and B2 works just fine, I can enter windows and go on the internet and everything.

They are configured as: A1 A2 B1 B2 CPU D2 D1 C2 C1. ... I'm NOT saying this configuration is wrong, but what is of significance is the location of the '1' slots and the '2' slots, as in A1 and A2 or C1 and C2.

Hi, I got a new computer with a Asrock z97 Anniversary mobo, I put my RAM in slots A2 and B2, does it matter?
Will it have any performance decreases or problems if I use these slots instead of A1 and B1. I would prefer not to move it as otherwise my CPU cooler will not fit.
